IFC is the most-shared format between architects, contractors, and clients. Bimly opens IFC2x3 and IFC4.3, structures the model by Storey, and renders it in 3D within seconds.
Uploaded IFC files are stored on Bimly's servers (in Japan) and parsed there with web-ifc (MPL 2.0). The original file is kept until you delete the project, and the edited model can be exported as IFC4.3 at any time.

Upload a .ifc file of up to 200 MB from your browser. Bimly's server parses it with web-ifc and extracts Storeys, Walls, Slabs, Columns, Beams, Roofs and Stairs automatically. (.ifczip is not supported — unzip it first.)
Inspect IfcPropertySet values, volume / area quantities, owning Storey, GUID, ElementType, and MaterialSet — without leaving the viewer.
Built-in horizontal section slider, per-storey toggles, and element-kind filters make it easy to review one floor at a time or focus on MEP coordination.
On upload, the server pre-generates per-storey 3D display data (glTF). The browser loads it directly, skipping client-side triangulation and keeping initial render fast even on multi-thousand-element models.
A toggle at the top-right of the 3D screen renders your model's true shapes — curved walls, sloped roofs, detailed stairs — from a Draco-compressed mesh. Switch between it and the lightweight editing view; the faithful layer is view-only.

Even on multi-thousand-element models, show only what matters
Adjust the horizontal section plane via slider or numeric input. Storey snapping makes it easy to flip between every floor's reflected ceiling plan and floor plan.
Plan view includes axis grids, dimension lines, and snap targets (endpoints, grids, 500 mm baseline). Make small edits during a meeting and they reflect in 3D immediately.
