The problems you can't see in one model alone are the cross-model collisions. Bimly overlays several IFC models in one project and finds where element shapes actually intersect. It uses an exact triangle-mesh intersection rather than a bounding-box hit, so elements that merely touch flush aren't reported as clashes.
Each clash can be marked Resolved or Ignored, and that status survives re-running detection. Turn the ones that matter into an issue in one click — the viewpoint and both elements come attached, so you can comment, share, and follow up.

Import architecture, structure, and MEP IFC into the same project. Show or hide each model, and nudge one along X/Y/Z if their origins differ. Import is additive — a second IFC overlays the existing model instead of replacing it.
Not a bounding-box approximation — Bimly tests whether elements' triangle meshes actually intersect. Elements that merely sit flush against each other (a slab resting on a wall) are not counted, so there are fewer false positives.
Same-model overlaps are left to the authoring tool; Bimly focuses on discipline-vs-discipline collisions (architecture × structure, structure × MEP) and lists just those.
Mark each clash Resolved or Ignored (acceptable / false positive). Re-running detection carries that status over by element pair, so reviewed clashes don't keep reappearing.
From any clash, open an issue with a viewpoint framed on the interference and both elements attached. Track it from there with comments, status, and share links.
Clashes are computed with each model's manual alignment offset applied, so the results match exactly what you see in the viewer.
